「民代論壇」不但是台灣地方民意代表交流的園地 ，也是全球地方民代，自由發表公共意見的媒體，目前除了台灣的地方民意代表外 ，還包括了日本、香港、馬來西亞，以及韓國的地方議員加入我們的陣容 ，我們希望藉由沒有政黨、立場的公共意見表達 ，深化各國民主政治和地方自治的理想，我們歡迎除了惡意人身攻擊以外的公共意見，在這裡自由交流。 未來，我們希望擴大結盟到全球的地方議員，成立一個非營利性的全球地方議員組織。
The Taiwan Local Councils Representatives Community Forum (“TCF”) uses the social network Facebook (“FB”) as a communication platform for local councils in Taiwan to share a lot of information and topics that they’re willing to or are interested in talking about publicly. At the TCF’s FB, local councils without intending any personal attack look beyond partisanship to focus on expression on the public opinions in hopes of deepening democratic politics and autonomization. Surprisingly, through FB, some foreign councils from Japan, Hong Kong, Malaysia and Korea have recognized TCF and have been expressing their interest in visiting the TCF’s FB and being friends of TCF. With that social network success, TCF anticipates that one day a global non-profit organization functioning as TCF could be initiated as an establishment for councils across nations for the same mission.
